Trees

Nature is sublime, it is vicious. It carries lessons and history and lore, and generously offers all of it to us, all of the time. I am moved by the chaotic order experienced in a forest, from the soaring breadth of its canopies to the lush abundance of its verdant floor. I am moved by the mysteries that lie buried in the soil below. There are subtle lessons that we can learn by observing trees in silence and stillness, and how we might remember who we are by their effortless, knowing example.
